Appalachian Garden Design is dedicated to helping customers across West Virginia create beautiful landscapes that reflect their individuality and spirit. No matter your skill level, budget, or the amount of time you have to “play in the dirt,” we can develop a garden tailored to your specific wishes and needs. Appalachian Garden Design supports the use of gardening practices that are sustainable and environmentally sound.

Dave Abruzzino is the founder of Appalachian Garden Design. A horticulturist with over ten years of experience, Dave received his formal training in garden design and naturalism from the West Virginia University Extension Service and the Cornell University Extension Service. He and his wife live on a small farm outside Salem, West Virginia, along with their donkeys, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats. Dave is a member of the American Horticultural Society.
